"Ms. Tiffany" Blackwell
Music Therapist
Fellow of Neurologic Music Therapy
Owner/Specialist/Family Consultant

Tiffany graduated with a Bachelor of Arts-Music Therapy degree from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1999. In 2000, while working as an Assistant Activity Director, instructing private piano lessons and counseling troubled youth, she began working with autistic children.  She served as a Para-Professional in the Shawnee Mission School District and privately taught ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis). Realizing her gift and passion for the autistic population, she began specializing in working with ASD children, later opening Successful Sounds in 2003.  In 2006 she obtained her certification as a Neurologic Music Therapist at Colorado State University and in 2008 became a Fellow of Neurologic Music Therapy. Tiffany is passionate about working with families of ASD children and is enthusiastic about music therapy and the Successful Sounds approach.  When it comes to treating autistic children, she understands them from the inside out and is ready to get to work.  Ms. Tiffany has been known to love a challenge and responds to "will never talk", "will never make friends", "will never" anything by boldly stating, "BRING IT ON!"..."Together, we WILL make a difference."
"Ms. Lisa" Wells
Music Therapist
Neurologic Music Therapist
Social Skills Director

Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Education-Music Therapy degree from the University of Kansas in 1991. After working as an Assistant Activity Director, she was a Music Therapist in the Shawnee Mission School District for 6 years, treating a variety of populations before opening a private practice in 1999 where she directed various social skills groups and implemented private therapy sessions.  In 2000 she began working in a private school for children with autism. It was there that she found a love for the autistic population and has joyfully worked with ASD clients ever since.  In 2006, Lisa received her Neurologic Music Therapy certification from Colorado State University and in 2008 began directing social skills groups and implementing individual music therapy sessions at Successful Sounds.  When Lisa is not working at Successful Sounds, she is instructing at Johnson County Community College, teaching piano, or driving her children to thousands of activities!  Lisa is an amazing and accomplished therapist who continues to change the lives of many through her dedication, talent and smile!  Successful Sounds is so extremely lucky to have her as part of the family.  WE LOVE OUR "Ms. Lisa"!  She's the best!
