Successful Sounds Presents...

"Camp Kidz Rock!"
A spectrum of friends...a spectrum of fun!

Welcome to learning more about “Camp Kidz Rock!”  We can’t wait to share our plans with you.   It’s going to be one hip, adventurous, interactive, unique and memorable experience that you won’t want your child to miss!  Space is limited, so don’t delay…apply today!

Population Served:
“Camp Kidz Rock!” is the ultimate fun and exciting summer day camp experience for vocal children ages 4-10 with immature or delayed social and play skills, targeting the umbrella of Autism Spectrum Disorders, including, but not limited to: Asperger’s, High-Functioning Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Sensory Integration Dysfunction and related play/social delays.  To enhance their experience, each camper is carefully placed in a small group of 4-8 children, supported by Certified Neurologic Music Therapists, trained camp counselors and integrated typical peers throughout the summer series.
This is not a clinical setting, therefore, camp is not appropriate for children that require physical support or restraint and/or exhibit intensive behavioral or functional needs.  For significant challenges and/or for children under the age of 4, private; semi-private and social skills groups are recommended and available this summer, Monday - Thursday after 1:00 p.m

Sessions:

Four, 2 week sessions, Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., are offered during this camp series.  Each session embraces a social/play “theme” that supports your child’s development in a variety of social settings: home• school• church• neighbor’s house• restaurant• store• play center• shopping center• theme park• theatre• swimming pool & birthday party…are just to name a few.  Parents have expressed these concerns and we listened!  Our goal this summer is to provide each camper with as many fun, social, experiences that we can.  Therefore, we strongly encourage, but do not require, parents to enroll their child in the full summer 8 week series!
